• A note here from our Service Department.   When purchasing a machine, remember that sooner or later you will need service/help.  Today to have a Full Time Service Center in a store is very expensive.  That is why most stores today send their service to a regional center or contract with an outside source.   For the last 40 years we have built our store as not just a sales store but as a FULL SERVICE Store offering in store service, classes, and the notions/attachments to maintain your investment.  With that in mind, and as we looked towards the future, we have decided to make the investment to maintain our in store service center.  What that means to you, our customer, is faster and better service/help.  Just imagine being in the middle of a project that you need to finish now and something happens.  Can you wait 2 or 3 weeks while your machine is shipped away for service ?!   Or, would you like help NOW.   That is what we can offer with your purchase from us.  Just something to think about when you are investing in a sewing machine, embroidery machine, or serger.

• The number one question being asked of us now is, What's happening at A-1 Sewing Center?  Why this "Out with the old to make room for the new"?  What new is coming?   I would like to answer your questions, but won't.  You will have to wait and see.  What I can tell you is that about 2 years ago the family got together to develop A-1 Sewing Center's 5 year business/growth plan.  A plan that would also get A-1 Sewing Center ready for the next 40 years.  This meeting include my Dad, Marv, for his knowledge and wisdom of this industry for almost 60 years.  Our daughter, Michelle, the near future of A-1 Sewing Center with her ideas the current treads of her generation.   And even our granddaughter, the future future of A-1 Sewing Center, she was only 7 at the time but we wanted the younger view of what kids want today.   Do you think the display of sparkly iron crystals was my idea?   The next 14 months are the months we planned for the biggest growth/expansion of the 5 year plan.   As we get to the end of this 5 year plan, we will also be asking you for ideas so that we can fine tune what we have done.  For you are the reason we are here.   This is a partnership between you and us.   The future will be wonderful.
